I have not received very many stories lately and I thought I would check in with you all. Please keep in mind a story does not have to be super long. Also a story does not have to be happy or sad for that matter. The story only has to be true. The point of this project is to show people what can happen when someone comes out.
If you need help coming up with your story or think you are not a writer please contact me at welcomeout1@gmail.com. I would be more than willing to find a time that would work for you to interview you and ask you questions then I can put the story together for you. The interview could take place through an email (I send you questions and you answer them then email it back) or we could use a phone or Skype.
None of the stories will be sent to anyone else for any reason other than for editing and publishing. This is not for anyone else's entertainment. This is a chance for us to show people we are normal and we do have emotions and we do deserve a chance to live open and productive lives.
